Crack Filling

Crack filling is one of the most cost-effective forms of asphalt maintenance. Unsealed cracks allow water to infiltrate the pavement base, causing potholes, heaving, and structural failure — especially in Alberta's freeze-thaw climate. Timely crack sealing can double the life of your pavement at a fraction of replacement cost.
We use premium hot rubberized sealants and modern cold-pour crack fill systems both designed to withstand Calgary's extreme weather conditions. The best method depends on crack profile, traffic demands, surface condition, season, and your long-term pavement goals. We assess each project and recommend the most appropriate solution.
With premium materials and proper preparation, crack fills typically last 3–5 years or longer before requiring maintenance. We back all new crack fills with a 1-year warranty.
Yes. We quote and complete large-scale crack filling for municipal roads, county routes, paved access roads, and public works surfaces. We use both cold-pour crack fill systems and heated crack sealing methods depending on the project requirements.

Pothole Repair

Potholes form when water seeps into unsealed cracks, freezes, expands, and breaks apart the asphalt sub-base. Alberta's extreme freeze-thaw cycles make this especially problematic. Traffic loads then finish the job, creating the hole. This is why crack filling is so important — it stops the process before it starts.
Alligator cracking (also called fatigue cracking or gator cracking) is a pattern of interconnected cracks resembling alligator skin. It indicates structural failure of the pavement base, usually from water damage or load stress. We perform a thorough assessment and use advanced repair techniques to provide a durable, seamless fix.
Most pothole repairs can be completed within 48 hours of booking. We respond quickly to prevent potholes from worsening and causing additional damage to vehicles or injury to pedestrians.

Sealcoating

Every 2–3 years is recommended to maintain optimal protection and appearance. For high-traffic commercial lots, you may want to sealcoat every 2 years. For residential driveways with lighter use, every 3 years is often sufficient.
Typically 24–48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. In cooler or humid weather, allow the full 48 hours. We will always advise you on the specific curing time for your project.
No. Sealcoating is a protective surface barrier, not a structural filler. We always recommend repairing cracks and potholes before sealcoating so that you're sealing a sound surface. Sealcoating over unrepaired damage only masks the problem temporarily.
Sealcoating protects against UV rays, oil and chemical spills, salt, moisture, and heavy traffic wear. It gives asphalt a deep-black, freshly paved appearance and delays costly structural repairs. Commercial grade emulsion and oil-based sealants applied professionally are far more effective than hardware store products.

Line Painting & Parking Lots

Clear, well-placed lines guide drivers, designate parking spaces, mark pedestrian pathways, and ensure your lot meets safety regulations. Faded or missing lines create confusion, accidents, and liability. Fresh line painting also makes your property look clean and professional — an important first impression for customers.
Parking lot line paint typically lasts 2–3 years depending on traffic volume, UV exposure, and weather. High-traffic lots may need repainting every 12 years. We use high-quality, durable paint that stays bright and visible longer than standard products.
Yes! We offer comprehensive commercial parking lot services including spring cleanup, crack filling, pothole repair, sealcoating, and line painting — all from one trusted provider. Many of our commercial clients book us for recurring annual maintenance.

Cost depends on the total affected area, size of individual failures, severity of damage, location, root cause, type of repair needed, and materials required. Choosing which corrective action to take depends on all these factors plus owner preference. We provide transparent, detailed quotes so you know exactly what you're paying for.
We are committed to fair, transparent pricing. Our quotes reflect premium materials, expert labour, and backed-by-warranty work. We would rather provide honest value than undercut quality to win a bid.
Yes. We provide a 1-year warranty on all new crack fills and repairs. We stand behind our work — we don't leave until you're happy.
In most cases, timely maintenance and repair is far more economical than full replacement. If asphalt is repaired correctly as soon as problems arise, the extent of repair and total cost is minimized. You can typically extend pavement life by many years saving thousands of dollars compared to complete removal and replacement.

Seasonal & Alberta-Specific

Spring and summer are ideal because warm temperatures help asphalt sealants and fillers adhere better and cure properly. Spring is especially important — it's the best time to repair damage from winter and protect pavement before traffic and moisture make problems worse.
Some repairs, such as pothole patching, can be done in cooler temperatures using cold-mix asphalt as a temporary fix. For permanent repairs and sealcoating, temperatures above 10°C (50°F) are recommended. We will always advise on the best approach for your specific conditions.
Alberta's dramatic temperature swings are extremely hard on asphalt. Water enters through cracks, freezes and expands, then thaws — widening cracks with every cycle. This is the primary cause of pothole formation and pavement base failure in our region. Regular crack sealing before winter is one of the best investments you can make in your pavement.
